How to Help

As a charity we are proud that we have no administration costs. Members provide their time and services at no cost, and also pay for all stationery and postage.  

                   Every penny that is raised is spent achieving our aims.

Please help us to help the people of Sankwia and surrounding areas to a brighter future.

Donations , however small are welcome. If you pay tax in the UK, and fill in a gift aid form we can claim 25 pence from the UK government for every £1 you donate.

A child’s education can be sponsored for as little as £3 per month. Such sponsorship pays for all the school fees,  all equipment and stationery and the provision of 2 school uniforms and a pair of shoes.

We hope that towards the end of 2011 that we will be able to send a further container to Sankwia. We need, tools, medical equipment, educational materials and sports equipment and children’s clothing.If you have such items please contact either Myrddin Owens or Val Roberts on 07788134844 07980986375.

In either late September or early October we hope to hold a further charity auction. The proceeds will be used to purchase medical equipment for use in the maternity and children’s ward at the health clinic in Soma. If you have any items that can be auctioned or have connection with any one that can help, again please contact either Myrddin Owens or Val Roberts on the telephone numbers referred to above.
