Unlike many charities, we are proud to boast that, we have no administration costs.

  • Every penny that is raised from the public is spent for the benefit of the village and surrounding areas.

The daily running costs of the charity such as postage, stationery, advertising materials etc. are provided by the members. Charity members who have travelled to Sankwia have always done so at their own expense with not one penny being donated by the charity.

We also ensure that money for projects, are paid direct to the requisite suppliers, with no funds passing through the hands of agents or third parties. It is in this way that we keep a strict control of our expenditure thus being able to keep the promise referred to above.

Supported by the WCVA Gold Star Communities Project and the
Welsh Assembly Government “Wales for Africa Scheme”.
